Bay Area Host Committee Announces First-of-its-Kind Innovation Summit to Take Place During Super Bowl LX Week
San Francisco, CA – Sept. 19, 2025 – The Bay Area Host Committee (BAHC), along with NFL Commissioner Roger Goodell, announced today the BAHC Super Bowl LX Innovation Summit, a dynamic convergence of sport, technology, civic leadership, and global storytelling, taking place on Friday, February 6, 2026, at the San Francisco Museum of Modern Art (SFMOMA) during Super Bowl LX week.
As the world’s eyes turn to the Bay Area, the BAHC Super Bowl LX Innovation Summit will celebrate the region’s unparalleled spirit of innovation—where creating, experiencing, and disrupting drives the flywheel of progress. This exclusive, invitation-only event will bring together 500 curated leaders from across tech, sports, venture capital, private equity, and culture, uniquely convened by the Bay Area Host Committee.
In a first-of-its-kind collaboration, the Summit’s Main Stage Sessions will be shaped and moderated by Ben Gilbert and David Rosenthal — the visionary hosts behind Acquired, the #1 technology podcast on Apple and Spotify. Renowned for transforming complex business stories into cultural phenomena, Gilbert and Rosenthal will bring their signature blend of insight, narrative mastery, and dynamic dialogue to conversations with leaders across sport and technology. Their involvement infuses the Summit with the same creative energy that led the Wall Street Journal to call Acquired ‘the business world’s favorite podcast.’
“The Bay Area is about pushing forward, taking risks and welcoming all,” Goodell said. “In that spirit, this first-of-its-kind Innovation Summit will bring together the best minds in technology, entrepreneurship and sport. It is designed to showcase the very best of the Bay Area, spark new ideas and ensure the impact of Super Bowl LX is felt far and wide.”
Throughout the Summit and within BAHC adjacent activations, attendees will experience and learn about next-gen products and immersive brand activations at SFMOMA—one of the City’s primary cultural anchors--with opportunities for continued engagement throughout the week.
One such opportunity is the Bay Area Technology Playground—an immersive, fan-focused experience that will live adjacent to SFMOMA. Fans will be able to see, feel, and interact with the Bay Area’s most cutting-edge products and technologies. This public showcase will feature interactive displays, product demos, and activations from leading Bay Area brands and partners.
“The Bay Area is the cradle of innovation, and only the Bay Area Host Committee can convene a moment like this—where the leaders of sport, tech, and culture gather to inspire and accelerate advancements for the future,” said BAHC President & CEO Zaileen Janmohamed. “We are bringing together the biggest moment in sport with the innovation capital of the world for a truly unique summit.”
Programming at the Summit will include a mix of Main Stage Sessions and Choose Your Own Adventure Tracks. Main Stages will focus on the flywheel of innovation – Create, Experience, and Disrupt – while individual tracks will dive into topics like AI and fandom, immersive design, the future of sport investment, and more.
“SFMOMA is deeply committed to celebrating creativity, technology, and cultural engagement and we are honored to serve as the platform for the Bay Area Host Committee’s Innovation Summit during Super Bowl LX week,” said Christopher Bedford, Helen and Charles Schwab Director of SFMOMA. “Technology, sports, and art have the extraordinary ability to challenge, inspire, and connect us. This is the perfect time and place for this important convening of some of today’s boldest thought leaders.”
