The Bay Area Host Committee (BAHC) is a nonprofit organization that harnesses the power of sport to unite the Bay Area, ignite innovation and elevate communities — inspiring pride across the region we call home.
BAHC works to attract, support and maximize the impact of major sporting events in the Bay Area. We bring together leaders across sports, business, government and the community to create experiences and opportunities that benefit the entire region.

In 2026, the Bay Area welcomed Super Bowl LX and six FIFA World Cup 26™ matches at Levi's Stadium. These events followed NBA All-Star in 2025, creating an unprecedented 18-month run of major sporting events across the region.

No. California law requires workers to be paid unless volunteering for a 501(c)(3) charity or local government.
BAHC (a 501(c)(6) organization) cannot offer unpaid volunteer positions.
The BAHC Foundation (a 501(c)(3)) may have limited volunteer opportunities, but these are rare.

Yes, but spaces are very limited.
BAHC offers a small number of internships each semester, which must be for college credit and provide a small educational stipend.

Eligibility: You must be able to earn college credit for your internship.

This is a specialized workforce program (in collaboration with Tipping Point) designed for a select group seeking pathways to full-time employment. It is not open to the general public.
