Bay Area Host Committee Opens Nominations for 2026 BAHC Impact Awards Presented by PNC Bank
Program Recognizes Bay Area Leaders and Organizations Driving Transformative Change Through Sports and Business
MOUNTAIN VIEW, CA – April 30, 2026 -- The Bay Area Host Committee today announced that nominations are now open for the 2026 BAHC Impact Awards, presented by PNC Bank. The program celebrates Bay Area individuals and organizations using sports and business as platforms for meaningful community impact.
The 2026 awards will feature five categories:
Sports Leadership Award, presented by PNC Bank
Sports Business Champion, presented by PNC Bank
Originators Award, presented by Genentech
Women's Confidence Award, presented by Invisalign
Community Impact Award
“The inaugural BAHC Impact Awards demonstrated the incredible depth of leadership and innovation in the Bay Area community,” said Zaileen Janmohamed, president & CEO of the Bay Area Host Committee. “We're excited to open nominations for 2026 and continue recognizing the visionary leaders and organizations who are using sports and business to drive transformative change across our region.”
The 2025 inaugural program honored five exceptional leaders: Steve Kerr (Sports Leadership), Lindsay Kauffman (Sports Business Champion), Faatimah Amen-Ra A (Trailblazer Award), Cathy Adams (Women's Confidence Award), and 10,000 Degrees (Community Impact Award).

Nominees must be based in the Bay Area or demonstrate significant impact in the region. Selection criteria include:
Demonstrated impact in sports, business, or community
Leadership, innovation, and vision
Strong alignment with award category values
Inspiration for women and underrepresented communities
