PG&E and The PG&E Corporation Foundation Partner with Bay Area Host Committee to Power Purpose-Driven Major Events Across the Bay Area
Mountain View, CA (August 20, 2025) — The Bay Area Host Committee (BAHC) today welcomes Pacific Gas and Electric Company (PG&E) as an official partner, joining a growing roster of premier Bay Area brands working to ensure the region’s upcoming global sporting events leave a lasting, positive impact on local communities.
Through this collaboration, The PG&E Corporation Foundation will support the Host Committee Foundation’s Bridge to Work, Sports for All and Green Communities programs — cornerstone initiatives that help create long-term opportunities for Bay Area residents and youth, well beyond 2026.
The PG&E and BAHC partnership will come to life through a variety of impactful initiatives such as an employee fan ambassador program, activations promoting safety and energy resilience, and advising on the Bay Area Host Committee’s safety and security workstream by contributing expertise and insights to help ensure fan well-being and operational readiness throughout the event season. As the Bay Area prepares to host the 2025 NWSL Championship, Super Bowl LX and the 2026 FIFA World Cup — and more major events to come — this partnership reflects a shared commitment to equity, sustainability, public safety, and community connection.
“PG&E has deep roots in this region, and we’re proud to partner with an organization that shares our goal of using these historic moments to uplift the people who call the Bay Area home,” said Zaileen Janmohamed, President and CEO of the Bay Area Host Committee. “Together, we’re building something bigger.”
“At PG&E, we’re committed to building safer, more sustainable communities — every day,” said Stephanie Isaacson, Senior Director, Community Relations at PG&E and Executive Director of The PG&E Corporation Foundation. “This multi-faceted partnership allows us to support the Bay Area in a truly unique way — connecting with and supporting our neighbors while helping bring some of the world’s most iconic events to life.”
PG&E brings decades of experience in supporting regional growth and resilience. This partnership underscores both organizations’ dedication to using landmark moments to foster inclusive progress and shared pride across the Bay Area.
PG&E and PG&E Foundation support is completely funded by PG&E shareholders and not customers.
