Bay Area Host Committee Launches Inaugural BAHC Impact Awards, presented by PNC Bank

Mountain View, CA – July 30, 2025 – The Bay Area Host Committee (BAHC) announced today that submissions are now open for the inaugural BAHC Impact Awards, presented by PNC Bank. This new awards program honors individuals and organizations across the Bay Area who are using sports and business as platforms to drive meaningful change in their communities and industries.

We invite you to nominate inspiring leaders across the following categories:​​

  • Sports Leadership Award, Presented by PNC Bank - honoring a coach or executive leading with purpose and driving impact in the Bay Area.​

  • Sports Business Champion, Presented by PNC Bank - Recognizing someone using sports as a platform for innovation and economic progress.​

  • Trailblazer Award - Celebrating an individual who challenges the status quo and leads with courage and conviction despite what is traditionally expected​

  • Women’s Confidence Award - Honoring a woman who leads with confidence, boldness, and a commitment to uplifting others.​

  • Community Impact Award - Celebrating an organization making meaningful contributions to their local community.​

Winners will be announced winter ‘25. Select nominees will be invited to a Networking Night at the Golden State Valkyries game on September 2nd. ​

Nomination Criteria

Nominees must be based in or demonstrate significant impact within the Bay Area. Selections will be evaluated based on:​

  • Impact in sports, business, or the community​

  • Leadership, innovation, and vision

  • Alignment with the values of the award category​

  • Inspiration, especially for women and underrepresented communities​
