Elizabeth Allin
Startup Investor and Advisor
Elizabeth Allin is an investor, advisor, non-profit board member. She founded Pythia Ventures, an early-stage venture capital fund dedicated to increasing the number of female founders in the Financial Technology industry. Prior to focusing her time on investing and philanthropy, Elizabeth spent a decade in the Bay Area as an operator and leader in fintech, financial services, and e-commerce, following ten years working with corporations, non-profits, and think tanks in Washington, DC.
A San Francisco native, Elizabeth is a lifelong fan of Bay Area sports teams. She holds leadership roles with the V Foundation for Cancer Research and the Stern Grove Foundation, and focuses her philanthropic efforts on cancer research, education, the arts, and social and criminal justice reform. Elizabeth graduated from Duke University and is a die-hard Blue Devil, actively supporting academic scholarships, men’s and women’s basketball, and the women’s softball team. She is passionate about the powerful intersections of technology, finance, food, wine, and sports to drive growth and opportunity for the entire Bay Area.
