BAHC Launches “Captains of the Bay” Campaign Featuring San Francisco 49ers Stars George Kittle and Kyle Juszczyk
Mountain View, CA (September 29, 2025) – The Bay Area Host Committee (BAHC) today launched Captains of the Bay, a new social-first campaign featuring San Francisco 49ers stars George Kittle and Kyle Juszczyk, introducing them as official ambassadors for the Bay Area.
Captains of the Bay celebrates a once-in-a-generation moment as the Bay Area prepares to host Super Bowl LX and the FIFA World Cup 2026™ in the same calendar year — a historic first for any region. Through humor, heart, and hometown pride, Kittle and Juszczyk will rally fans across all Bay Area counties and help showcase the region as a world-class host.
The content series and short vignettes feature Kittle and Juszczyk delivering messages that inspire civic pride and excitement. Filmed at 49ers headquarters, the campaign features short-form video, quick-hit social clips, and heartfelt messages designed for Instagram, TikTok, X, YouTube Shorts, and more.
Key themes include:
Bay Area Pride – messages that celebrate the region’s culture, energy, and people.
Playful Crossover Moments – football meets fútbol, celebrating the Bay hosting two global events.
PSA-Style Tips – fun etiquette reminders on how to be the ultimate host city.
Community Shoutouts – heartfelt thanks to teachers, first responders, transit workers, and others who keep the Bay running.
Campaign content will roll out across BAHC and 49ers digital and social channels starting September 29. Fans can also expect In-stadium integrations, countdown moments, and World Cup-themed content which will continue through July 2026, building momentum toward the biggest year in Bay Area sports history.
