The Bay Area Host Committee (BAHC) exists for the sole and primary purpose of facilitating positive economic and societal impact to the region. We are a 501(c)(6) non-profit corporation focused on bringing world-class events to the Bay Area to drive economic vitality, foster community-wide engagement, instill civic pride, and elevate global recognition.

Legacy & Impact.

Mega sporting events have the power to change lives by driving economic impact in local communities and shining a light on crucial societal issues. This change only occurs if impact is intentionally considered and delivered.

Bay Area Host Committee exists for the primary purpose of facilitating positive economic and societal impact to the bay area. Our success does not only lie in hosting events…Our success is when our communities succeed.

Bay Area Sports.

With support from the area’s preeminent leaders and professional sports teams—including Bay FC, the Golden State Warriors, the Golden State Valkyries, the San Francisco 49ers, the San Francisco Giants, the San Jose Earthquakes, and the San Jose Sharks, the BAHC is bringing the best to the Bay while celebrating the diversity, innovation, and fandom that make the region unique.

Workforce & Advancement

The Bay Area Host Committee is committed to leveraging the platform of mega-sporting events to build the Bay Area workforce’s capacity to secure family-supporting jobs, and connect local businesses to opportunities across the Bay.
