Bay Area Host Committee, 49ers and NFL Join Forces to Invite Diverse, Local Businesses to Participate in Super Bowl LX Source Procurement Program

Super Bowl LX Source reflects BAHC’s ongoing commitment to engaging the region’s communities

SANTA CLARA, CA (December 3, 2024) — The Bay Area Host Committee (BAHC) (a non-profit corporation focused on bringing world-class events to the Bay Area and uniting the region through sport), 49ers and NFL today announced Super Bowl LX Source, the official Super Bowl LX procurement program kicking off in the San Francisco Bay Area.

Super Bowl LX Source provides a unique opportunity for local, diverse businesses across production and professional services to receive professional development; access to brand/marketing workshops; network with the NFL, 49ers, partners and staff; and pursue contracts related to Super Bowl LX taking place at Levi’s Stadium on February 8, 2026.

Local businesses are needed to fulfill Super Bowl LX subcontracting roles for a full range of event production and professional services including audio/visual, catering, florals, transportation, engineering, web/app development and more. Businesses selected for the program will be profiled in a member directory for Super Bowl LX, which NFL primary contractors and event producers will use to identify local suppliers to fulfill their Super Bowl LX subcontracting needs.

To be eligible for Super Bowl LX Source, qualifying businesses must:

  • Provide a product or service requested by the Super Bowl LX procurement program

  • Be the direct source of the goods and services proposed in their bid

  • Be diverse under federal guidelines (at least 51% owned and operated by a minority, woman, person with disabilities, LGBTQ+ or veteran individual)

  • Show proof of at least one certification from an approved national or local organization (businesses do not need their certification completed at the time of application to the program)

  • Be in good standing and eligible to do business within the state of California

  • Since February 2023, have been in operation, with an established office in any of the following Bay Area counties: Alameda, Contra Costa, Marin, Napa, San Francisco, San Mateo, Santa Clara, Santa Cruz, Solano and Sonoma
