Noah Wintroub Joins Bay Area Host Committee as Chairman of the Board
New Leadership, Partnerships and Team Members Fuel BAHC Momentum
Mountain View, CA (October 17, 2024) – The Bay Area Host Committee (BAHC), a 501c6 corporation focused on bringing world-class events to the Bay Area and uniting the region through sport, today announced Noah Wintroub as the new Chairman of the Board.
Wintroub, a Global Chair for Investment Banking and Asset & Wealth Management at J.P. Morgan in San Francisco, will support BAHC's focus on leveraging cutting-edge technology, strategic collaborations, expanded donor engagement and enhanced financial capacities to elevate major events including NBA All-Star 2025, Super Bowl LX and FIFA World Cup 2026TM in the Bay Area. His appointment follows substantial recent momentum for the organization, including signing new partnerships and adding talented new team members.

Wintroub’s vision and leadership will help guide the BAHC’s next phase of growth, positioning the organization for long-term success. Over the last year, the organization has secured partnerships with EA SPORTS and Boston Consulting Group while forging strong relationships with government and community organizations.

Wintroub joins a talented Board of Directors that includes Board President Al Guido, Board Secretary Jared Shawlee, Board Treasurer Cipora Herman, Larry Baer, Jonathan Becher, Brandon Schneider, Jess Smith, Ahmad Thomas and Aly Wagner.
For more than 25 years, Wintroub has guided top founders, investors and companies through critical strategic and financial decisions. He founded J.P. Morgan’s Internet and Digital Media business, scaling it into Wall Street’s premier tech investment banking platform. He became the firm’s youngest-ever Vice Chairman in 2015, where he was recognized on Fortune’s 40 under 40 list. Named Global Chair in 2020, he now leads efforts within J.P. Morgan’s U.S. Private Bank to connect clients, capital, and opportunities, driving growth across the company. To strengthen cross-line business partnerships and expand opportunities for the firm’s largest clients, Wintroub was recently appointed to help lead the strategy for the newly merged Commercial & Investment Bank, working closely with a team to uncover new investment and advisory opportunities.

Zaileen Janmohamed, President and CEO, leverages her extensive experience in commercial development at LA28 and brand work with Intel, Google and VISA to lead the BAHC's strategic operations.
Ivette Gonzalez, Executive Assistant to the CEO, provides crucial support with her administrative, operational and community relations expertise from Edelman and the Sacramento Kings and Monarchs, implementing executive communication and organizational efficiency.
Patty Hubbard, Chief Marketing and Commercial Officer, brings more than 30 years of sports and entertainment marketing experience from her previous leadership roles, including West Coast President of MKTG and President of BFWD Sports.
Karina Herold, Chief Operating Officer, has considerable experience in managing operations for global live sports events like Super Bowl LVI and multiple College Football Playoff National Championships and NCAA Division I Men’s Basketball Championships from her time with the Los Angeles Sports & Entertainment Commission and working in college athletics.
Kristin Miller, Chief Financial Officer, brings a wealth of financial management experience from her tenure at Williams-Sonoma, Inc.
Gabby Turner, Vice President of Marketing and Partnerships, offers a deep reservoir of expertise from over 20 years in the industry, including a track record as the Head of Sports & Entertainment Partnerships at Zenni Optical, along with leadership roles and consulting work with StubHub, eBay, FanDuel and more.
Ruth Mizobe Shikada, Vice President of Government and External Affairs, brings extensive public-private partnership experience from her executive role with the City of Santa Clara.
Will Hunter, Vice President of Event Operations, applies more than 20 years of event operations expertise from his tenure and collaboration with the NFL, NBA, NCAA, Dallas Cowboys and Pac-12 Conference.
Ryan Bates, Director of Partnerships and Client Services, has an 18-year history of successful sports partnerships management, including roles at Elevate Sports Ventures and the San Francisco Giants.
Becca Smith, Director of Brand and Events, integrates operational excellence with brand strategy, drawing on her experience at MarketCast and Pepperdine University Athletics.
Ally Whitson, Director of Marketing, previously served as the Director of Partnership Marketing for the San Jose Earthquakes, where her team successfully brought over 60 brands to life alongside the Quakes.
Taylor Gilmore, Manager of Event Operations, brings experience in event management and sponsorship activation from her time at Genesco Sports Enterprises.
