Teresa Chan
Coordinator, Partnerships & Client Serivices
Teresa Chan serves as the Coordinator for the Partnerships & Client Services team at the Bay Area Host Committee, where she helps manage corporate relationships, sponsor activations, and partner fulfillment across major sporting events. She plays a key role in ensuring exceptional partner experiences through event coordination, hospitality, and community-driven initiatives.
Before stepping into her current role, Teresa interned with the Host Committee’s Marketing team, contributing to the successful execution of events such as the FIFA World Cup Poster Launch and “One Year To Go” celebrations across the Bay Area. She has also held positions with The Collective at Wasserman, Bay FC, and 888 Table Tennis, where she advanced engagement strategies and partnerships within women’s sports and global sport marketing.
A Chinese Peruvian American, Teresa grew up playing professional table tennis and competed internationally as part of the Peruvian National Team. Her experiences in sport and multicultural environments shaped her belief in the power of athletics to build connection and community. She earned her M.S. in Sport Management from the University of San Francisco and her B.A. in Psychology and Communications from the University of California, Davis. Passionate about using sport as a platform for inclusion and legacy, Teresa brings an energy rooted in purpose, teamwork, and impact.
